I completed the Komen Race for a Cure this past weekend in Hunt Valley with THE BEST TEAM EVER! Team "Pink Lemonade" raised money to support research and awareness of breast cancer. I also spread the word about self exams to all young woman as it's shocking to see the amount of younger women not checking and being diagnosed.
Oh and did I mention I've been "sampling" the 2007 Hope Estate Pink Awareness Shiraz Reserve.
Congratulations to The D, who's our PINKtober winner. Thank you all for entering, and thank you even more for all the efforts you personally make that fund cancer research!
